Bosch announces 29 new part numbers for its aftermarket portfolio

Global automotive and industrial technology supplier Robert Bosch LLC has just announced 29 new SKUs for several of its product lines. Lines benefiting from the new additions include Bosch Blue disc brake pads, rotating machines, gasoline direct injection fuel injectors and pressure sensors and Bosch fuel pumps.

Three of the new parts are fresh variations of the Bosch Blue Brake pad sets. Their addition is expected to provide new coverage to over 1.5 million units currently in operation across domestic and Asian markets.

They've been specifically designed with the "everyday driver" in mind and aim to hit a sweet spot between overall value and quality of performance. According to Bosch, one of the key features of these new brake pads are OE-style, multi-layer shims that have been built to have superior noise dampening characteristics.

Other parts added to the Bosch portfolio include new fuel pressure sensors for the domestic market, aftermarket fuel pump kits nine new high pressure fuel injectors and several new SKUs and alternators.

Thomas Winter, the vice president of automotive aftermarket at Robert Bosch LLC says of the launch that "As an automotive industry technology leader, Bosch is keeping pace with the needs of service professionals that are seeing new technologies on vehicles entering repair shops," adding that, "as a result, our monthly new product additions now include parts for start-stop and GDI-equipped vehicles – both relatively new technologies for the aftermarket."
