The Greening Model 1460 Single Facing Clutch Test Machine performs quality control fade and wear tests on clutch friction materials at both the prototype and production stages. The machine has a continuous-slip speed ramp to map friction of torque converters and transfer couplings, and evaluate fluid and limited slip differentials.
The Model 1460 runs on the Microsoft Windows-based Greening Dyna_Works control software, which allows for a high degree of automation. The user can program the machine to operate continuously without supervision, even automatically switching from dynamic to static to continuous slip mode, or any combination thereof, without further interaction. The test fluid flow and viscosity and the sump temperature are also easily programmable through the interface.
This machine is equipped with a Digital Servo Valve to control stop time within 0.001 seconds, and automatically generates comprehensive test reports.
